With this workshop, Red Hat will help you familiarize yourself with the technical details of the OpenShift Virtualisation Offering. This workshop addresses explicit attendees with foundational real-live experience with OpenShift but attending the previous OpenShift Virtualization Enablement Journey.

Agenda

The following themes will be covered during the sessions:

  • Installation options
  • Storage considerations
  • Network setup, configuration and options
  • Backup and disaster recovery
  • Migration from VCenter at scale (Ansible Automation)

The workshop includes mainly live demos. Anyhow there will be no options to gain hands-on experience for the attendees.

Outcome

Expected results:
Attendees should be able to 

  • explain OpenShift Virtualization
  • install POC, blueprint architecture and migration plans
  • oversee upcoming migration options and related risks
