As of October 31, 2025, the Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Console will deprecate basic authentication (Red Hat user name/password). If you use any services through the Hybrid Cloud Console, including Ansible Analytics, you MUST create a service account to use in place of basic authentication of Ansible Automation Platform(AAP). More information about service accounts and how they work can be found here.

The following actions are required:
Any account currently using basic auth to send data to Ansible Analytics will need to switch to using service accounts for this before October 31, 2025 at which point you will cease to send data and may be at risk of analytics data loss. Detailed instructions for this process and troubleshooting help are available here.
